Margate picture starts with five bids for Anthony Giles

Anthony Giles, contemporary impressionist landscape artist, was off to a flying start with painting his 12 section picture of Margate this week as he received five silent bids by Wednesday.

Anthony will be continuing to paint his Margate seafront picture at the town’s Harbour Arm Gallery until Friday 25 January. The whole painting will be for sale either as  individual pieces or the whole work can be purchased as one.  Bids start from £300. The money raised will be donated to Pilgrims Hospices.

HmsDuring the event there is also a beautiful hand crafted replica of a tall ship which has kindly been donated to us by George Dean. Bids for the ship start at £400.

Viewing 10am until 4pm Monday until Saturday.
