Folkestone restaurant hosts Pilgrims lunch

Generous diners helped swell the Pilgrims Hospices funds by more than £1,000 on Wednesday during a charity lunch at Paul’s Restaurant in Bouverie Road West, Folkestone.
More than 90 people enjoyed a sumptuous table d’hote lunch with £7 from every booking being given to the east Kent charity.
The sell out event was organised by local Pilgrims supporter and Rotarian Michael Eaton with restauranteur Paul Hagger who also donated a prize of a stay for two at the establishment to the event’s raffle.
Pilgrims Hospices Chief Executive Steve Auty said: “We’re very grateful to Paul’s Restaurant for hosting the lunch and we hope it will be the first of many. It was a great occasion for those who appreciate fine dining while raising money for charity at the same time.”
