Golf club supports Pilgrims Hospices

Old & Bold members of North Foreland Golf Club, Broadstairs presented Pilgrims Hospices with £1,100 during its recent Christmas presentation lunch.

Giving a cheque to Pilgrims Regional Fundraising Manager Karen Kenward, club captain Peter Pace said: “Karen appears every year like Father Christmas. We all know very well what fantastic care is given by Pilgrims Hospices and we have been keen to support the charity again this year.”

Karen said: “The generosity shown by North Foreland members each year is absolutely amazing. The funds raised will go a long way to support the care we provide to all our patients.”

Pilgrims Hospices rely on the local community to help raise more than £9.5 million a year to support local people with life-limiting illnesses.
