Catherine Miller 2012 Marathon WalkA Marathon Walk

Catherine Miller from Westgate, along with a group of up to 15 friends will be walking 26 miles from Whitstable to the Miles Bar at Ramsgate Harbour on 6th May 2012 in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. This will be the third year that she has walked this route for the charity. Catherine said, “We all want to raise money for the wonderful Pilgrims Hospices which has touched our lives.”

Holiday Extras handed over a cheque for £5000 to Pilgrims Hospices on 24th April 2012 as sponsorship for The Pyjama Walk 2012. The inaugural walk was a success last year and with the help of Holiday Extras the aim is to make it bigger and better than before.

1st South Ashford Rainbow Guides presented £31.10 to Pilgrims Hospices on 23rd April as a result of their cake sale as part of Pilgrims Hospice’s Piece of Cake fundraising week.

Cycle Challenge - riding through the Elham valleyLast chance to register for cycle challenge

Keen cyclists, groups and work mates have until 2nd May to register for Kent’s best loved cycle ride. The Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge sets off on Sunday 6th May with routes to suit all abilities of 75 miles, 45 miles or 8 miles.

Co-Op FuneralcareThe Co-operative Funeralcare Tombola Raises £240

Nuala O'Donoghue from the Co-operative Funeralcare in Canterbury visited the Fundraising team yesterday to drop off a cheque for £240. The money was raised on a tombola stall at the Canterbury hospice's Spring Fair.

Pilgrims Path volunteers thanetPilgrims Path Progress

Volunteers from Pfizer have been digging hard to produce a Pilgrims Path in the garden of Pilgrims Hospice Thanet. The 20 strong team has prepared the area and starting to lay the engraved bricks.
