It was a day to remember in more ways than one for the supporters at The Oval, Cliftonville on Sunday, as around 350 runners and walkers lined up for the Pilgrims Hospices Thanet Fun Run to raise funds in memory of family and friends.

City Councillor James Flanagan, launched himself out of a plane at 13,000ft to raise money for Pilgrims Hospices. He took on the tandem skydive to raise funds for improvements to be made to the reception area at Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury.

Margate Town Partnership and Pilgrims Hospices have joined forces to turn the old Midland Bank Building into a brand new Charity Bookshop. Pilgrims Hospices are now appealing for volunteer staff and book donations from the local community.

Pilgrims Hospices have just launched the findings of an initiative supported by the Kent and Medway Cardiac Network. The work has national significance and looks at how support and access can be improved for patients with end stage heart failure.

Ashford Moonlight WalkAshford Moonlight Walk a sparkling success!

On Saturday 26th June, Ashford was aglow with flashing bunny ears and wands as nearly one thousand ladies joined Pilgrims Hospices 'Moonlight Walk - a night to remember'. The cheering procession lit up the 10km route with lights and enthusiasm and the snaking line of ladies was a sight to behold.
