Paul’s restaurant to host charity lunch
Posted on 26 March 2013
Folkestone restauranteur Paul Hagger is holding a special fundraising lunch in aid of Pilgrims Hospices work in the area on Wednesday 15 May.
Paul’s Restaurant in Bouverie Road West, will be serving a sumptuous table d’hote menu between 12pm and 2pm at £21 per head. Of that amount, £7 will be donated straight to the charity.
There will also be a raffle to help swell funds further. It is hoped the event will raise several hundred pounds.
Pilgrims Hospices Chief Executive Steve Auty said: “We’re very grateful to Paul’s Restaurant for hosting the lunch and we hope it will be the first of many. It promises to be a great occasion for those who appreciate fine dining while raising money for charity at the same time.”
Pilgrims care is available at its three hospices, throughout the community and in the homes of patients via its Rapid Response Hospice at Home service.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting the restaurant in person or phoning 01303 259697. Alternatively, they can also be purchased by calling Pilgrims trust fundraiser Yvonne Archer on 01843 233922. For anybody unable to attend, prizes for the raffle will be gladly accepted
