How we help
Find out what people who have accessed our services say about the care we provide

If you are coping with an incurable illness, how we support will depend on what you and your family want and need from us. We can work with you to help manage your symptoms. We can support you to cope with the changes in your life, give practical advice and help you think about the future. We offer our services from our Therapy Centres in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet and our three inpatient wards. If you can't get to us then we can offer the same support in your home, in hospitals and care homes. We are here where and when you need us.

"The staff here are so lovely and they
make me
feel safe and comfortable."

- Pilgrims patient

How can I get a referral to Pilgrims?

The first step to get a referral for yourself or someone close to you to use any of Pilgrims Hospices services is to talk to your GP or any Healthcare Professional involved in your care. They can help you consider whether the service is right for you and your family. All of our services are free for people in east Kent who are in the later stages of an incurable illness and for their family and friends.
