Tree Recycling 2017

We’re calling on Ashford Borough Council residents to sign up to this year’s Tree Recycling campaign, which provides Christmas tree collections on 13 and 14 January 2018 in return for a chosen donation to Pilgrims.

Register now or contact Pilgrims Hospice Ashford on 01233 504 111 to find out more.

Help us get the word out

Teams of volunteers will be leafleting between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Could you spare just one hour to help us spread the word? Posting fliers in your street will really help us; it’s also a fun way to make a difference and burn off the Christmas calories! Email us to ask for fliers or click here for more ideas.

There are lots of other ways you can help, too:

  • Download a poster, visit your local shops and ask if they’ll display it in their window
  • Use the buttons below to share our Tree Recycling page with family and friends
  • Post your Christmas tree pictures on our Facebook page so we can see them in all their splendour during the festive holidays
  • Tweet @PilgrimsHospice a picture of your Christmas tree before we collect it using the hashtag #PilgrimsTreeRecycling
  • Email us and send your photos; we’d love to hear why you’re supporting Pilgrims.

Our sponsors

Several local companies have already pledged their support. A special Pilgrims thank you goes to our sponsors Andrew & Co Estate Agents and Ashford Borough Council. Our thanks also to Givaudan, PSR Lighting & Signs, Countrystyle, Waitrose and Medash who are all helping with our Christmas tree collections.

Email us if your company would like to lend a hand.

Our hospice elves are already getting Tree Recycling set up for the busy season. Last year donations we received in return for collecting residents’ Christmas trees totalled more than £17,000.

This year, we hope to raise even more.

Register now for your Christmas tree collection in January.

Registration will close at midnight on Sunday 7 January.
