  • Thank you to the fabulous RockIt Choirs from Tenterden and Hawkhurst for raising more than £6,000 for Pilgrims Hospices at their record-breaking Beatlemania concert in April 2019, contributing to their amazing fundraising total of more than £30,000 over the ten years they've been singing together.
  • With the help of family and supporters, Charlie Prescott raised an amazing £1,745.50 by holding his third music concert in aid of Pilgrims Hospices! We're so grateful for Charlie's continued support of local hospice care.
  • Thank you to Waitrose in Hythe for welcoming members of our amazing volunteer team to hold a bucket collection in-store. The generosity of customers and staff raised an incredible £460 towards hospice care. This could pay for a patient’s meals for seven weeks.
  • Thank you so much to Isabel and Emily Phillips who walked 26.2 miles, together with their canine companion Buddy, to complete the London Walkopoly virtual challenge and raised a fantastic £340 for Pilgrims Hospices!
  • A Pilgrims Hospices day can be filled with precious care for patients, their family and, friends. 10 months old Ellie Harper's parents Emmie and Bradly brought her with her brothers to share special moments with Emmie's mum Caroline, who has been receiving care at the Canterbury hospice. A blessing was held in the garden for the whole family to enjoy together.
  • As long as the team at Steven James can remember, they’ve been holding a Christmas Raffle in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. A huge Pilgrims Hospices thank you to James Flower James Flower and Jason Mannouch who presented an incredible £5,380 cheque raised from the three salons in Canterbury and Faversham. With generous donations from customers, friends of the Steven James team, local businesses and staff, the raffle just goes from strength to strength.
  • Over the Christmas period, Barretts of Canterbury kindly host a special night at the pantomime for staff, friends and family. All proceeds from the evening are generously donated to three local charities; Pilgrims Hospices is always delighted to be chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the event.
  • Thank you to staff at local butchers Rooks in Ramsgate who have raised an amazing £1,415.32 for Pilgrims Hospices since 2016. This fantastic fundraising will make such a big difference and help our charity to continue providing vital, compassionate care to families across east Kent.
  • Pilgrims nurses met 9-year-old Shania Roberts who donated £480.27 at our Canterbury hospice in memory of her Great-Grandad Fred. Shania saved her pocket money for over a year and helped with chores around the house to help us be there for the next family who need our care.
  • Macdonalds at Westwood Cross kindly arranged for Pilgrims Hospices Thanet team to have a free breakfast today - 23 March 2020. Thank you very much!

Dreams come true at Pilgrims

When Bob told us about his wedding wishes, we did our level best to support his plans and were so delighted to have been able to share his special day with his bride, Sue. Special occasions that support families through difficult times are an important part of our work here at Pilgrims.
