Sunflower Memories 2024

Saturday 20 July 1pm-4pm
Pilgrims Hospices Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford

Join us this July to dedicate a sunflower in a loved one's memory, and celebrate their life in the hospice gardens at our Sunflower Days.

We invite you to celebrate your treasured memories by dedicating a beautiful sunflower in your loved one's memory and then join us at a summer tea party, where your beautiful sunflower marker will shine brightly in our gardens, accompanied by live music and refreshments.

This year, we will be joined by the Pilgrims Wellbeing Team, who will be giving you the opportunity to explore your creative side with a sunflower themed arts and crafts station, for all of the family to enjoy.

This year our Sunflower Days will be taking place on Saturday 20 July from 1pm-4pm in our hospice gardens. We invite you to share your memories, collect your sunflower marker, and celebrate the life of your loved one, all while supporting the outstanding care Pilgrims delivers to local families, inside, and outside, the hospice walls.

Your sunflowers will remain in the gardens until 9th August, or can be collected as a treasured keepsake on the day, to be placed in your own garden.

To dedicate a sunflower in memory of a loved one, click below, or call our friendly Supporter Relations Team on 01227 782062.  We will write the name of your loved one on your sunflower memory marker, and plant it in the hospice garden of your choosing ready for the Sunflower Day.

Want to remember your loved one with a sunflower every year?

If you would like to donate a sunflower every year to your loved one, you can sign up for an annual Direct Debit. Each year you will automatically receive your invite to the Sunflower Day, where your sunflower will be waiting for you.

Sarah Abel Resized

I find such comfort in coming back to the hospice to remember him, and these events are such a wonderful opportunity and excuse to do so. I want to keep celebrating him and seeing his name written somewhere.
