Volunteering opportunities

Our volunteers are vital to the work of Pilgrims Hospices – without them we simply couldn’t continue to provide such a high level of patient care and support.

Around 1,500 volunteers are involved with Pilgrims Hospices, across all three sites and in the community. Volunteer support means that we need fewer members of paid staff so over 80 pence in every pound goes directly to patient care.

Hospice volunteers

You can work directly with patients and their families, behind the scenes in an administrative role, or helping to raise money. Find out more
