Hospice Ambassadors and Collecting Tin Champions
We have two challenges ahead of us. The first is to tell more people about the variety of services Pilgrims Hospices have to offer so more people can be cared for by the charity. The second is to raise the funds to support this care.
We are actively recruiting Hospice Ambassadors and Collecting Tin Champions throughout east Kent and need your help!
Did you know…countless groups and societies contact Pilgrims and request a representative to speak about the charity? Although we do our best, we could be speaking to more people. If you have a flair for public speaking or are willing to learn, we need you. Full training will be given on what to say and how to say it!
Did you also know…we have around 700 collecting tins around east Kent that last year raised around £24,000? Although this is a fantastic sum, other local charities raise much more than that. So, more tins = more money. Collecting tins are the simplest way to raise funds, but we need volunteers to take responsibility for placing tins in their local outlets and collecting them when they are full.
If you would like to step up and do your bit, please contact us.
