Volunteer Researcher
There is a lot more to fundraising than meets the eye.  It’s all about relationships between the charity and the donor.

At Pilgrims Hospices, relationships with our supporters are key to raising enough money to carry on providing our specialist care. One way that we can make that contact a little more personal is by knowing more about them. We’re looking for a Volunteer Researcher to help create a better profile about our donors, and other people, businesses and trusts that have the potential to support the hospices either financially or in other ways.

You’ll need to have good research skills, an interest in local affairs, great communication skills and be an excellent administrator, using a variety of tools to gather all the information needed. You’ll be working across a number of mediums including publicly available databases, media coverage and reports to name a few. But one thing you won’t need is bags of experience but you will need an interest in helping your local community.  Please contact Yvonne Archer on 01843 233920 for further information.
