Schools, students and young people

Pilgrims Hospices is proud to have the support of so many young people from all over east Kent.

Supporting Pilgrims Hospices is about more than just raising funds for a good cause – it’s about achieving something on a very personal level for yourself as well as making a difference to your local community. Through volunteering and fundraising, you can develop knowledge, experience in a new field and exceed your own expectations by doing something you truly enjoy.

It’s easy to assume charity work might involve receiving your consistent support; we would like to dispel this myth.  You can volunteer for a day at our one-off events, organise your own fundraising activity over a few months, or promote one of our campaigns at your school or youth group over a week. We like to think we have something for everyone!

“After the success of last year’s jazz event, we were keen to be able to continue this as a tradition so it is great to be able to perform once again for the hospice. We are really looking forward to entertaining everyone,” – Daniel Stanyon, Jazz Orchestra, Norton Knatchbull School.
