Youth and Young Ambassadors

Would you like to be a Youth Ambassador for Pilgrims Hospices?

Are you a teacher, youth worker, or head teacher? Are you working in the educational sector and about to retire? Would you like to make a difference? Then why not put the skills you have to good use and join Pilgrims Hospices Ambassador scheme!

Our mission is to develop a pool of ambassadors from the education sector who would be happy to deliver talks about Pilgrims Hospices to young people in schools and youth groups in their local area.

Your support will help Pilgrims Hospices develop greater awareness and longer lasting relationships among young people over the long term.

Young Ambassador Scheme

We are also keen to recruit young ambassadors to do talks at their own schools about us! If you take on the Young Ambassador role it will provide you with some public speaking training and develop your leadership skills. It will also help us to raise awareness of Pilgrims Hospices, whilst you are acting as our role model.

What is a Young Ambassador?

A Young Ambassador is someone who has experience of Pilgrims Hospices and is keen to contribute towards the work of the hospice. The roles a Young Ambassador might perform include:

Public speaking – about Pilgrims Hospices

Research – participating in focus groups about youth or facilitating them

For more information on becoming an ambassador, please contact your Regional Fundraising Office to find out more.

It’s important to create dialogue with young people about such a significant subject.
