Have you had a positive experience of the Hospice and would you like to make a difference?

Then why not put the skills you have to good use and join Pilgrims Hospices new Young Ambassador scheme!

Why become a Young Ambassador?

If you take on the Young Ambassador role it will provide you with some new training and develop your leadership skills. It will also help us to raise awareness of Pilgrims Hospices, whilst you go out into the community and act as our role model.

We will also provide you with an official certificate from Pilgrims Hospices recording the number of hours you have completed and reimburse you for any travel costs you incur. 

What is a Young Ambassador?

A Young Ambassador is someone who has experience of Pilgrims Hospices and is keen to contribute towards the work of the hospice. The roles a Young Ambassador might perform include:

  • Committee member – you can become a Committee member for some of our biggest events
  • Public speaking – speaking about Pilgrims Hospices at schools or meetings
  • Research – participating in focus groups or facilitating them
