Suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to soothe people by hand massage.

Hand massage is really effective technique in offering comfort and touch in a non-threatening, non-invasive way to soothe and calm patients.

This half day course covers the main techniques for offering hand massage as an important aspect of patient care and participants are able to practise the techniques with real life ‘models’ as part of the course.

As a result of attending the workshop, delegates will:

be able to respond to the patient’s need for therapeutic massage treatments
gain practical knowledge and skills of hand massage, to be able to perform a hand massage treatment
gain an understanding about the benefits and any contra-indications.
