Volunteer to help us in our hospice shops around east Kent, or with our ebay shop.
Many of Pilgrims Hospices shops are run by volunteer managers and staff, meaning more money goes directly to patient care. We are always keen to hear from anyone who wishes to join and support these much valued teams. There is a place for everyone as duties range from assisting customers to selling, sorting and displaying goods. Full training will be provided.
Whatever you have to offer us in terms of time or talents we have a place for you and your support will be welcomed.
Shop volunteers usually work in the morning or afternoon. All times can be varied so please don’t be put off if they don’t suit, any time you can give will be very welcome.
Pilgrims Hospices are appealing for volunteers to work in the Chartham and New Romney offices where donations are sorted to be sold on eBay. You do not have to be computer literate as there are many roles to be carried out including listing, packing, sorting, photographing and hanging.
We receive a huge amount of good quality items for sale on eBay which in turn creates a considerable amount of work to get them ready for sale online. We would be very grateful to volunteers who wish to help us in mornings or afternoons. There are a range of roles to suit volunteers who are not computer literate and those who are. We would be delighted to hear from you and would provide full training.
