Pilgrims Garden Festival

Sunday 24 July 2022

Enjoy the stunning Mount Ephraim Estate this summer at the Pilgrims Garden Festival on Sunday 24 July 2022.

Join us this Sunday for the Pilgrims Garden Festival. A perfect family day out this summer, set in the stunning grounds of Mount Ephraim Gardens in Faversham.

Back for a second year, the Pilgrims Garden Festival is a celebration of local food and drink producers, plant sellers and traders. There’s a wide range of stalls for you to discover as you make your way through our vibrant market area. The demo area will have inspirational sessions for you to enjoy, before heading to our new bar area, stocked with locally produced drinks.

So much to see and do!

Our market area will be bustling with over 30 local food and drink producers, plant sellers and crafters for you to discover. Throughout the day, we will have lots of entertainment for all ages to enjoy and be inspired by including:

12:00 – A wine tasting (limited participation) and talk from Corkk – the English Wine Specialists.

13:00 – A fantastic falconry display by Joe’s Bows, Mount Ephraim’s resident bird of prey experts.

14:15 – A fun-filled magic show hosted by Stuart Weller Magic for all the family to marvel over.
There will be limited seating for the demos so please be aware of those around you who may be less able to stand.

Those with green fingers can get free advice on plant care, general gardening queries and garden design from RHS trained and qualified horticulturalist Phil Stanley-Berridge by visiting the Snelling & Berridge stall within the market area.

Younger visitors will enjoy great entertainment in our children’s corner with traditional games, craft making, a live magic show and lots more. Then, the whole family can relax at our tea party, enjoying sweet treats, or having their fill at our fresh BBQ.

Each ticket to the Pilgrims Garden Festival includes entry to Mount Ephraim Gardens where you can explore 10 acres of enchanting Edwardian gardens and terraces filled with fragrant roses, leading you to a small lake,  woodland area, and nature trail.

By attending, you’ll be helping Pilgrims Hospices to support people across east Kent who are living with an incurable illness.
