Social Programme

A support group for patients with a life limiting illness. Facing change and uncertainty can have an impact on how you cope with your daily life and the future. This structured 12 session programme can help you to access a range of services in a relaxed, social environment. You can take part in creative activities, talk to our team of professionals and develop new friendships with other group members. Our experienced team can also give you practical advice to help you manage your condition to maintain your independence. Lunch is included.

Who’s it for: Patients.

How many sessions are there: Twelve weekly sessions, each lasting up to five hours.

Patient Pop-In

This relaxed and friendly group offers a chance to meet and connect with other patients and learn about other services on offer. The group is supported by Pilgrims staff and volunteers. You can drop in
at any time during the session and bring a family member if you want to. You will also have the chance to look around the hospice if you wish.

Who’s it for: Patients and carers are welcome.

How many sessions are there: Alternate weekly sessions each lasting up to two hours.
