Terry has been a volunteer fundraiser for Pilgrims since 2013 and has recently spent 18 months inducting new volunteers at Pilgrims Hospice Canterbury.
Terry spent twenty years as a Methodist Minister in Bridgend, Seaford and Romsey. During this time he was chaplain to Glamorgan County Council, the Air Training Corps and Lewes Prison, and the Chairman of Cruse, the bereavement counselling organisation.
Since his retirement as Headmaster of Kent College Infant and Junior School he taught budgeting and money management in Canterbury Prison.
He is a Street Pastor and a leader of Canterbury Prospects, a Christian organisation for adults with learning difficulties.
