We are a seeking well-motivated and forward-thinking professional to join our multi-disciplinary team to work across any of our sites covering nine months maternity leave, with the potential for the successful candidate to develop into a permanent role.

As a member of the wider clinical team, the successful candidate will be involved in delivering physiotherapy services across our inpatient unit and outpatient services. You will have an opportunity to deliver breathlessness management tailored for patients with a life-limiting illness both for groups and individually, as well as physio based groups in our gyms.

Key duties include:

  • Taking a lead role in advanced assessment, and treatments of patients with life limiting illnesses
  • Being involved in the supervision and education of other health professionals, and
  • Providing advice and guidance related to symptom management
  • Recognising and appropriately responding to changes in patients conditions
  • Acting as an independent prescriber
  • Actively contributing to service development
  • Being involved in the supervision and education of other health professionals
  • Undertaking evidence based projects and audit
  • Making recommendations for the development of and changes to working practices and processes as required
