Virtual TCS London Marathon
Run the World's biggest marathon, your way, this April.
If you've ever wanted to experience the excitement of running the London Marathon without the added worries of travel, accommodation or a daunting sponsorship target, we've got you covered.
On 23 April 2023, you too can be part of the world's biggest marathon by running the official Virtual London Marathon, your way, alongside 100,000 other runners in London, around the country and beyond.
Right now, you can apply to run the Virtual TCS London Marathon for Pilgrims Hospices through a guaranteed charity place. But you'll have to hurry, places are limited and going fast!
TCS London Marathon
Run alongside more than 40,000 runners at the iconic London Marathon.
Beginning in Greenwich Park, you'll over look the beautiful city of London before it's filled with thousands of like-minded runners taking on their very own challenge. You'll pass famous landmarks such as Charlton House, Cutty Sark, London Eye, Big Ben and of course, experience the famous Tower Bridge atmosphere. Throughout the 26.2 mile route you'll be cheered and applauded by crowds of supporters in awe of your immense efforts, before your cross the memorable finish line on the Mall.
If you've been lucky enough to receive a ballot place in the TCS London Marathon 2023, we'd love for you to run for Pilgrims Hospices, helping us to continue providing specialist end-of-life care across east Kent.
Pilgrims Hospices has a limited number of charity places in the TCS London Marathon 2023, and will be receiving applications until mid-October 2022. Apply to run for Team Pilgrims, and we'll support you all the way to the famous finish line. Applications have now closed.

Brighton Marathon
The seaside marathon returns on Sunday 2 April 2023.
Join more than 8,000 fellow runners for an unforgettable experience and the achievement of a lifetime in the buzzing and beautiful city of Brighton & Hove on Sunday 2 April 2023 and raise much-needed funds for local hospice care.
You'll have the unique opportunity to experience the stunning city of Brighton & Hove along 26.2 miles of closed roads, as friends, family and the local community line the route to cheer you on.
London Landmarks Half Marathon
Run through Westminster and City of London on closed roads.
Join more than 16,000 fellow runners as you pass London's most spectacular views and attractions, immersing you in London's quirky and hidden history. With a route lined amazing entertainment, for you and your supporters, this even is not to be missed!
Secure your place in LLHM on Sunday 2 April 2023 and raise much-needed funds for local hospice care to help us to continue providing care to thousands of people in east Kent who are living with an incurable illness.
Canterbury Half Marathon

The Canterbury Half Marathon is a real highlight in Kent’s sporting calendar. Every year, it attracts a huge bank holiday crowd, from runners chasing a personal best to those simply aspiring to go the distance. Held against the beautiful backdrop of the Kent Downs, the 13.1-mile course challenges the novice and veteran alike as runners navigate the undulating country lanes on the outskirts of this historic city.
Pilgrims Hospices are the proud charity partner of Canterbury Half Marathon and you can join Team Pilgrims, for free, with a pledge to raise at least £100 in sponsorship.
The London Big Half
The community running festival returns on Sunday 3 September 2023.
The Big Half is the perfect half marathon for runners of all abilities. Starting by the impressive Tower Bridge, the 13.1 mile closed-road run echoes the famous London Marathon route. You'll visit the boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham and Greenwich before finishing at the historic Cutty Sark. The Big Half is much more than a half marathon, it's a community running festival and everyone is invited.
You can register now for the Vitality Big Half as a Pilgrims Hospices runner for free, with a pledge to raise at least £350 in sponsorship to help Pilgrims to continue providing specialist nursing care to patients, and families, receiving end-of-life care in east Kent.
