Courses

We offer courses and training for local health and social care professionals to facilitate education around end-of-life care.

The Ann Robertson Centre

The Ann Robertson Centre is our purpose-built education and training facility. Named after Pilgrims' founder and located in Canterbury, the Centre has four education and training rooms, including a clinical room for practical workshops, and features breakout areas for refreshment and reflection. These rooms are used for our courses and are competitively priced so they can be hired for external meetings.

All profits from room bookings go back into providing vital, compassionate Pilgrims care.

Education has always been a key part of our work. It’s fantastic we now have this designated facility and income generator for future projects. This building will ensure Pilgrims can maintain its reputation for being at the cutting edge of palliative care.

Alongside training at the Ann Robertson Centre, we run courses at our Ashford and Thanet hospices.

Pilgrims also offer bespoke training in your workplace. We work with our local community colleagues to deliver cost-effective training in end-of-life care. Courses designed to meet the specific needs of you and your colleagues can be delivered either at a Pilgrims hospice or in your own workplace.
