At times of loss it can be a great comfort to remember loved ones by making a tribute.

Many people choose to support Pilgrims Hospices in memory of someone they love. We’re here to support you however you choose to give in memory. Here are some of the ways you can remember someone special.

Funeral collections

Asking friends and family to donate at the funeral of a loved one is a lasting and meaningful way to honour their memory. Donations received will ensure we’re able to be here for the next family that needs us.

Pilgrims Memory Trees

Have the name of your loved one engraved on a leaf and placed on one of our Memory Trees. These are beautiful sculptures which sit on the walls of each of our three hospices.

Always Loved Tribute Funds

Always Loved Tribute Funds are a lovely way for friends and family to honour the life of a loved one through shared memories, photos and messages.

Remembrance events

Each year, many of our supporters find it comforting to remember someone they have loved and lost at one of Pilgrims Hospices remembrance events – Sunflower Memories and Trees of Love. These events take place across east Kent including Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford.

Sunflower Memories (July)

Celebrate beautiful memories in our summer remembrance by dedicating a sunflower to someone you love. Join us for a garden party with live music and refreshments.

Trees of Love (December)

Remember family and friends over the festive period by dedicating a beautiful dove to hang on our illuminated Trees of Love. Our remembrance services with carols are a loving way to remember someone special during the festive season. We understand that when someone you love is being cared for in the hospice, you will have a range of feelings and concerns.
