Whether you're looking to explore the east Kent countryside, or go further afield and have the unique opportunity of cycling on traffic-free roads of London, there's a cycling event for everyone.
Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge
Our award-winning Cycle Challenge is back on Sunday 30 April 2023.
After the ride's sell-out success in 2022, Cycle Challenge returns for its 13th year. You can join 1,000 fellow cyclists, of all abilities, to explore the beautiful and varied countryside of east Kent alongside friends, family and colleagues. Ride it your way by choosing to ride one of five distances ranging from 30 miles up to 125 miles. With a maximum of 1,000 riders being able to take part in Cycle Challenge, and last year's event selling out, we highly advise early registration to avoid disappointment.
Since the very first ride in 2010, over £1.1 million has been raised for the specialist care of those living with an incurable illness in our east Kent community. So challenge yourself this spring by taking on the Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge and achieve something amazing!
RideLondon returns on Sunday 28 May 2023 to celebrate its 10th anniversary year!
By riding the RideLondon-Essex 100 challenge for Pilgrims Hospices, you will have the unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex. The exciting route will have participants set off from Victoria Embankment into Essex via Epping Forest. Riders will glide through picturesque towns and villages, before joining a section of the 2014 Stage Three Tour de France route. The course will guide riders through the Essex countryside back to central London, where they'll complete their ride at the famous Tower Bridge.
Cycle RideLondon-Essex 100 this Spring with one of our guaranteed charity places. These places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis for a registration fee of just £40 and a pledge to raise at least £395 sponsorship for local hospice care. Got your own place? Use it to help us to continue providing specialist end-of-life care in east Kent.
