For further guidance on what to do when someone dies, including the steps you need to take when administering an estate, you can visit the government website. There are also specific instructions on how to deal with an estate, including the records you need to keep when acting as executor.
We know this can be a distressing time for relatives and friends. Our bereavement services are available to anyone who is grieving across east Kent. You can also speak to our Gifts in Wills Team, who will be more than happy to help.
Many of the people who've kindly left gifts to us in their Wills had also supported us in life. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can update our records. This will ensure no future communications will be sent to their address.
