Pay in a Gift left to Pilgrims Hospices in a Will Gifts in Wills contribute over a third of our funding. Without them we simply would not be able to continue offering our services free of charge to the people of east Kent. If you are an executor notifying us of a gift in a Will, please complete this form providing some details in relation to the gift. This will include details of who you are, details of the person who left the gift in their Will, and the gift. Gifts left to us have to be formally receipted by an officer who has been given delegated authority to sign on behalf of the charity’s Trustees. We therefore have to ensure that these monies have been paid to the correct charity and are for the correct amount. As such we require a copy of the Will or Will clause as our auditors need to make sure there are no restrictions and to check that the charity is entitled to the funds and using them as the person intended.
