We will put your needs first and support you to live well in mind and body until the very last moment of your life.

You will be fully involved in decisions about your care, and we will help you retain control and choice as you consider options and think about your wishes. We can support your family, friends and carers too.

What is End of Life Care?

End of life care aims to help people live as well as possible and to die with dignity. It also refers to treatment during this time and can include additional support, such as help with legal matters. End of life care continues for as long as you need it.

Care where you need it

Some people choose to come to our hospices for end of life care. Others prefer to receive hospice care in their own home or in a hospital or care home.

The whole Pilgrims team – including doctors, nurses, therapists, counsellors, complementary therapists and the spiritual care team – can deliver care and comfort wherever you are in the community.

If you would like to visit us before making a decision, this can be arranged by calling our team on 01233 504133.

Your wishes count

Memory-making is a very important part of this time, and our team will support you in making these last days special, according to your own particular wishes.

Whatever your wishes, our specialist and compassionate care team can offer support, advice and practical help through this difficult time.
