Trees of Love 2024

This December, dedicate a dove to someone special and join us at our hospice remembrance services, or at a special alternative service in the local community.

The festive season can be such a joyous time filled with warmth and celebration, but it can also be the hardest time of year when you're missing someone. At Pilgrims Hospices, we open our hospices and our hearts to you and invite you to join us for Trees of Love 2024, the largest remembrance in east Kent.

Beautiful doves are dedicated in memory of your loved ones, which decorate the Trees of Love at venues across east Kent. Then, we welcome you to join us to watch as your doves are beautifully illuminated at one of our remembrance services, where you can enjoy carol singing and festive refreshments, and take time to pause and reflect with those who may be going through similar experiences.

Your dove dedications will decorate the Christmas trees throughout December, and will be available to view until early January.

To take part in Trees of Love 2024, simply follow the link below or contact our friendly Supporter Relations Team on 01227 782062 to dedicate a dove today.

Jenny remembers her husband, Graham, by dedicating a dove in his memory for Trees of Love. You can read her story here.

Graham's Dove, illustrated by Jenny's Granddaughter, Charlotte.

Although I attended alone, Trees of Love was such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I struck up conversation with someone who was by themselves, and it was comforting to share the experience with someone who knew what I was going through.

Would you like to remember your loved one with a dove every year?

If you have someone special to remember each year for Trees of Love, you can sign up for an annual Direct Debit. This would ensure you receive a dove to dedicate automatically each year, along with an invitation to your chosen remembrance service.

Share your memories on the Trees of Love 2024 Memory Wall.

Let us know who you are remembering this festive season by sharing your photos and messages on the online Memory Wall, and let their memory shine on.

£30 could pay for two complimentary therapy sessions for a patient, to give them a distraction from their illness,
and the opportunity to relax over the festive season.

£45 could help a Pilgrims counsellor pride a one-to-one session with someone struggling to cope with their
first Christmas without their loved one.

£100 could allow our community nurses to continue making  home visits to our patients that wish to spend
their Christmas at home with family and friends.
