Volunteer Receptionist – Thanet

Pilgrims Hospices is looking for Volunteer Receptionists at its  Thanet Hospice.

If you have time to offer and want to make a positive difference in your community, come and join our team of much valued Volunteer Receptionists. We are currently looking for people to fill day, evening and weekend shifts.

The role includes being the first point of contact for visitors to the hospice, welcoming them in a polite, courteous and professional manner as well as supporting the smooth running of the reception and coffee shop service. You will also serve drinks to our inpatients and undertake some basic administration tasks.

All hospice volunteers are given training and a full induction, which includes an introduction to Pilgrims Hospices and some guidance around volunteering with us. In addition, new Volunteer Receptionists will be given the opportunity to shadow an experienced volunteer.
