Volunteer Receptionists

Location: Ashford


Pilgrims Hospices at Ashford are looking for Weekend and Evening Reception Volunteers to join its volunteer workforce of over 1,500, to welcome patients and their families to the inpatient units at its hospice site. 

Receptionists ensure the smooth running of the reception area, carrying out a variety of tasks, and they are people’s first point of contact at the hospice site. This busy, varied and interesting volunteer role includes a range of tasks and activities that make a positive difference to patients, families and visitors, as well as to the wider hospice team.

You will receive full training and ongoing support. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to shadow existing volunteers.

Please note that the applicants will need to be 18 years plus, to apply for these roles at the Evening and Weekend Reception.
