The Role
In this role as a retail driver, you will be a key member of our dedicated logistics team supporting the Income Generation element of Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent.
You would be working in pairs to; asses, collect and deliver items of furniture and other donations from customers’ home’s. Using sympathy and politeness when declining non-compliant donations. To supply stock and clear our shops of donations to support the overall retail operation.
The logistics team covers the South East of Kent, our drivers are on the road each day being ‘Door Step’ ambassadors – no day is the same!
Being flexible and pro-active in their approach to each days challenges, working as a team enabling the smooth operation the of Pilgrims Hospice logistics team.
Using knowledge of furniture, coupled with understanding of the Gift Aid scheme enabling Pilgrims Hospice to maximise the value of each donation we receive.
