Walk across flames, jump out of a plane or conquer a lofty peak; however you want to do it, there are so many ways you can challenge yourself in aid of hospice care.

Pilgrims Hospices is very closely monitoring the situation concerning the Covid-19 virus. The ongoing health crisis is at the forefront of many of our minds, and here at Pilgrims Hospices, we've been continually monitoring the guidance from authorities to inform how best we can do our part to protect our patients, staff, volunteers, and of couse, our wider community that we serve. You can read the latest advice and hospice information here.

What's on offer?

You can take on a personal challenge for Pilgrims year-round, so there's always an opportunity to tick something off your bucket list. Challenges such as the Firewalk, which dares you to walk barefoot over red-hot wood embers measuring around 800 degrees!

I’m very proud to have done a Fire Walk for Pilgrims and would do one again. If you’re considering it, do it. I guarantee you’ll never, ever regret it.

If it's an adrenaline rush you're after, the sky's the limit with our tandem skydive days taking place throughout the year. Free fall from 12,000 ft and experience breathtaking views as you raise vital funds for hospice care. If free falling isn't for you, why not take a walk on the wild side with our dare devil wing walking days. Soar through the air at speeds of up to 120mph strapped to the wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane to raise much needed funds for your local hospice.

Feeling adventurous? Set yourself a trekking challenge. Pilgrims has four incredible challenges for you on, ranging in trekking difficulty and length of trip. Whether you're looking to take on the UK's three highest peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowdon all within 48 hours. Want to climb into the High Atlas Mountains of Morror on a 3 day trek to the summit of Mt Toubkal. Experience the rich culture and tradition of Nepal as you hike the Himalayas and volunteer in a local hospice. Journey to the 'roof of Africa' in an unforgettable 6 day trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. There's sure to be something to 'peak' your interest!

Give yourself an extra push by tackling an Ultra Challenge series event; walk, jog or run vast, stunning areas of the UK on an epic journey complete with amazing views and a congratulatory glass of bubbly when you cross the finish line! Whatever Ultra Challenge you take on, you'll discover hidden resilience and spirit along the way.
