Miner's Way Challenge

Following it's 2026 debut, the unmissable Pilgrims event returns in 2027 as the perfect complement to your training plan. 

Celebrating east Kent’s proud mining heritage, this exciting running festival offers four unique experiences: a multi-terrain half marathon, an endurance testing 20km, a fast 10km loop, and a fun family trail adventure. Every stride you take will help raise vital funds to support local hospice care.

Registrations for 2027 will open later in the year.

Brighton Marathon

The seaside marathon returns on Sunday 4 April 2027.

Fancy a marathon with a side of sea air instead of the usual city heat? Join #TeamPilgrims and experience the unforgettable atmosphere of running 26.2 miles through the buzzing city streets of Brighton & Hove alongside thousands of fellow runners, as friends, family, and the local community line the pavements to cheer you on.

With every mile, you'll be raising vital funds to help Pilgrims Hospices continue to provide skilled and compassionate care to those facing an incurable illness across east Kent.

London Landmarks Half

The iconic city half marathon returns on Sunday 4 April 2027.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is the only one to offer you the chance to run through the City of London and City of Westminster on closed roads. The LLHM route passes London’s most spectacular views and attractions and immerses participants in London’s quirky and hidden history. With a route lined with amazing entertainment, this event is not to be missed!

Apply to run through a Pilgrims Hospices charity place, or join #TeamPilgrims with your own ballot place, and help us to continue being there for thousands of people in east Kent living with life-limiting conditions.

TCS London Marathon

The biggest event in the running calendar returns for The Double - Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April 2027.

Experience the amazing atmosphere of one of the most iconic sporting events in the world, running in support of Pilgrims Hospices. Each year, more than 56,000 runners flock to London to take on the London Marathon, the largest annual fundraising event in the world.

Charity places in the TCS London Marathon 2027 have now been allocated. If you've secured a ballot place, and raising funds for Pilgrims, let us know today!

Big Half

The historic half marathon route sees runners take to the streets on Sunday 6 September 2026.

Set in the heart of London, The Big Half is the perfect late-season challenge for runners of all abilities, that gives you the chance to train throughout the summer. Starting by London’s iconic Tower Bridge, the 13.1-mile closed-road race follows much of the route made famous by the London Marathon. You’ll run through Limehouse and Canary Wharf before crossing Tower Bridge to the south bank and onward to a finish at the historic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

Vitality London 10000

Cross the royal finish line after 10k on Sunday 27 September 2026.

Join the vibrant atmosphere of over 13,000 runners taking on the streets of London in this iconic 10k race. From a mass start on The Mall, the Vitality London 10000 passes through Marble Arch, Trafalgar Square and many of the capital’s other famous landmarks, before an unforgettable finish outside Buckingham Palace.

Take part with your own place in support of Pilgrims Hospices, and help us provide care to those who need us most.

Thanet 5k Colour Run

The annual fun run, hosted by Pilgrims Hospices, sees Margate seafront covered in colour each October.

Gather friends and family to join the energetic atmosphere, and take in amazing coastal views, as you run, jog or walk through clouds of brightly coloured powder along Thanet's spectacular seafront.

Royal Parks Half

The scenic Hyde Park half marathon returns on Sunday 11 October 2026.

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a unique challenge event. Run on closed roads with a festival atmosphere, the stunning course threads its way through the beauty and majesty of four Royal Parks, past iconic royal and government landmarks.

Our charity places have been allocated for 2026. Come back in Spring 2027 for your chance to run with #TeamPilgrims.

Santas on the Run!

Pilgrims Hospices' festive family fun run taking place on Sunday 13th December 2026.

 Choose from a 3k, 5k, or 10k challenge and dash your way along Herne Bay's scenic seafront with hundreds of fellow Santas in aid of a good Claus.

You'll enjoy festive music to get you into the ho, ho, holiday spirit as you prepare for your seafront Santa run. Then, you'll be cheered on and jingled all the way by our Christmas cheer stations!
