A Marathon WalkCatherine Miller from Westgate, along with a group of up to 15 friends will be walking 26 miles from Whitstable to the Miles Bar at Ramsgate Harbour on 6th May 2012 in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. This will be the third year that she has walked this route for the charity. Catherine said, “We all want to raise money for the wonderful Pilgrims Hospices which has touched our lives.”
Women Walkers on Moonlight MarchA troop of wonderful women from Olympians to office workers took to the moonlit seafront between Herne Bay and Whitstable on Saturday 18th June. Over 475 set out from Herne Bay Pier at sunset on the circular 18km Moonlight Walk for Pilgrims Hospices dressed in neon leggings, flashing bunny ears and fluorescent wigs.

Open All Hours – Whitstable Charity Shop keen to open on SundaysThe Pilgrims Hospices shop in Whitstable is proving so popular that the charity is keen to open it every day of the week. The store at 2 High Street Whitstable is a big hit with locals and tourists alike so Pilgrims Hospices would like it to open on Sundays if enough volunteers can be found.
Hospice Moonlight Walk dazzles Herne BayOver 730 ladies turned out in force to walk the impressive 13km from Herne Bay Pier to Whitstable Hotel Continental and back in aid of Pilgrims Hospices.
