A Taste of Whitstable with The Lord Mayor of Canterbury

Pilgrims Hospices is the Lord Mayor’s Charity of the Year.

The Lord Mayor of Canterbury, Cllr Jean Butcher would be delighted if you would join an event hosted by her on Thursday 30th November from 12noon to 4pm and enjoy a ‘Taste of Whitstable’.

The afternoon will include, arrival from 12noon to 12.30pm at the Umbrella Centre for coffee and a brief talk, followed by a tour of Whitstable Museum and the Horsebridge Centre
There will be time to browse in some of the unique boutique shops that Whitstable has to offer to find those special Christmas presents.
The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress will then welcome you to the recently opened South Quays Shed which is situated by the Harbour where you will be able to enjoy a mulled wine and mince pie, take part in a special Christmas raffle and choose what you want to eat from the food stands available inside using a voucher that is provided and enjoy the chance to do more shopping in the indoor shops inside the South Quays shed.
