We are seeking well-motivated and forward thinking professionals to join our multi-disciplinary team, who is experienced, passionate about high-quality training and the impact this has on employee engagement, retention, performance and succession planning.

The successful applicant will possess a formal qualification in teaching and/or training, will have a full understanding of CQC requirements relating to staff training and development, and will have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse range of individuals.

Key duties include:

  • Supporting the delivery and facilitation of clinical education and training across Pilgrims Hospices
  • Providing support in the design and implementation of training programmes according to the organisations needs as a whole and towards individual areas where appropriate
  • Actively contributing to service development
  • Being involved in the supervision and education of other health professionals
  • Undertaking evidence based projects and audit
  • Making recommendations for the development of and changes to working practices and processes as required
