Volunteer Media Specialist – Tivoli Brooks (Margate)

Location: Margate

Status: Voluntary 2-3 days per week

Salary: N/A

Closing date: 28/06/2024

“Do You Know your ABBA From Your Zappa? Do You love Movies & Computer Games?  You may be just the person we are looking for!”.

We are looking for a volunteer to join our Tivoli Warehouse team in Margate to help sort and prioritise our media stock

The Role

This role will entail sorting our media stock as it arrives and identifying items for our e commerce department, stores, and recycling.  A knowledge of media would be an advantage but a passion for Music & Film is essential.  We will provide support and training and you would work closely with the Warehouse Manager and E Commerce Department.  We are hoping to expand this role as we move forward and envisage a stand alone eBay operation out of the Warehouse in due course, which you would be a key part of.

The post holder must ensure that services are provided to a high standard, in line with mandatory and best practice guidelines.

Working Arrangements

This is a voluntary part-time role offering 2 – 3 days per week and is based at Tivoli Warehouse, Margate.  You will be provided with on-site parking and subsidised meals during your work day.
