Retail Administrator (Part-Time – 21 Hours)

Pilgrims Hospices is looking for a Retail Administrator to join the team in our Tivoli Brooks Retail Office, helping to support our retail stores, retail volunteers, and Furniture line operators with their day-to-day administration. 

The Role

As the Retail Administrator you will assist the retail operations and ensure that they are a successful source of income generation whilst maintaining a good rapport with the wider retail team.  Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Support the achievement of the overall budget for retail
  • Demonstrate a standard of excellence at all times with regard to customer service, volunteer and supporter care
  • Liaising with the warehouse team and drivers.
  • Helping out members of the retail office on projects when required.
  • Updating Maintenance Spreadsheet as required
  • Assist with the administration of the recruitment of Volunteers, maintaining records within the Donorflex database
  • Working with the Head of Retail on ad hoc tasks

Working Arrangements

This is a part-time role (21 hrs per week) and is based at Pilgrims Hospices’ Tivoli Brooks Retail Office. Working days will be 3 days between Monday and Sunday, allocated via a monthly rota, although you should be flexible.

About You

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Experience working in a target-driven retail environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial mind.
  • IT literate and experienced in use of on-line marketplaces
  • A good standard of Numeracy and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, personable and able to relate to volunteers
  • A flexible and positive attitude
