Volunteer Gardener – Thanet
Location: Thanet Hospice
Status: Hours to be agreed; a minimum of one morning a week would be expected between Monday and Friday.
Pilgrims Hospices is looking for a Volunteer Gardener to join our Thanet hospice.
Do you have a passion for gardening and a few hours a week to spare? We rely on support from volunteers to maintain a beautiful and welcoming environment for our patients and their visitors.
We’re looking for reliable, committed individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and, although it isn’t essential, ideally have some basic gardening experience. Some of the key tasks include:
- Tidying/weeding various areas when required
- Helping keep the grounds clean and tidy
- Helping with planting, pruning and composting
- Mowing grass
- General garden help
Hours to be agreed, but a minimum of one morning a week would be expected between Monday and Friday.
