“Reindogs” to appear at Pilgrims Hospices Christmas Fair
Posted on 12 November 2012
Some very special creatures will be appearing at Pilgrims Hospices Canterbury Christmas Fair this year. On Saturday 24th November, Elsa and Eva, the two Leonbergers who visit the hospice’s patients as Pet as Therapy dogs, will be sporting some antlers and joining in the fun!
The London Road hospice will be hosting the popular Christmas Fair from 12-3pm and will feature a huge range of stalls, varying from home made produce and crafts to cakes, gifts, toys and games. The ever popular Tombola has a wide range of gifts available and new stalls this year include local cheeses, handmade jewellery and a pic and mix stall from Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe.
There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes including a voucher for a meal at local restaurant Deesons, a stay at local guest house Magnolia House and a voucher for indoor skydiving with Airkix.
For the children there will be plenty to do. Clover Gem Face Painting will once again be transforming the younger visitors, Stan the Man will be bringing his Christmas Float and providing the snowy atmosphere and Santa’s Grotto will be open with some amazing gifts and a stall for children to make reindeer food.
If you would like to buy raffle tickets, which are now on sale for £1 each, please contact Deborah or Laura on 01227 812621.
