#StayHomeHospiceHero Incentive Terms and Conditions

Pilgrims Hospices Be a #StayHomeHospiceHero is a virtual fundraising campaign to raise vital funding for end-of-life care services in east Kent during the Covid-19 outbreak.

By taking part in the Pilgrims Hospices #StayHomeHospiceHero fundraising campaign you are supporting the care of thousands of people across east Kent who are living with an incurable illness.

There is no entry fee to take part in the Pilgrims Hosices #StayHomeHospiceHero campaign, however, there are several fundraising rewards that one might qualify for by achieving the specified criteria. The terms and conditions of these rewards are set out below.

  1. Pilgrims Hospices reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online at
  2. In no event will Pilgrims Hospices be liable for any personal injury or damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages arising from one’s participation or in connection with the Be a #StayHomeHospiceHero campaign.
  3. By holding a virtual fundraiser, you consent to Pilgrims Hospices contacting you by letter, email or telephone for the purpose of your participation in the campaign. This includes, but is not limited to, offering fundraising support, the forwarding of a certificate of participation and contacting you about your qualification for fundraising rewards.
  4. By holding a virtual fundraiser and using the Be a #StayHomeHospiceHero Facebook community group, you consent to your name and images of you and/or your fundraiser being used in the promotion of Pilgrims Hospices fundraising activities.
  5. To qualify for a fundraising reward, you must have raised the prerequisite amount (not including Gift Aid), and informed Pilgrims Hospices about your #StayHomeHospiceHero virtual fundraiser by email (, before 31/05/2020.
  6. The fundraising rewards offered via the #StayHomeHospiceHero campaign are as follows:
    1. Each participant who raises £50 or more will receive a Pilgrims Hospices charity wristband.
    2. Each participant who raises £100 or more will receive a Pilgrims Hospices charity keyring or pin badge.
    3. Each participant who raises £250 or more will receive a Pilgrims Hospices neck buff.
    4. Each participant who raises £500 or more will receive a Pilgrims Hospices technical T-shirt.
    5. Each participant who raises £750 or more will receive one free entry into a Pilgrims Hospices organised event in 2021. This entry can be redeemed for the following events: Cycle Challenge, Firewalk, Paws 4 Pilgrims, Pilgrims Way Challenge, Pyjama Walk, Thanet 5k Colour Run, Santas on the Run (one event only).
  7. The reward granted is limited to one item per fundraising milestone achieved. Where the virtual fundraiser has been performed by more than one individual, the decision to award additional rewards will be at the sole discretion of Pilgrims Hospices.
  8. Free entry into a 2021 Pilgrims Hospices event is only valid for the 2021 editions of the specified events and is not valid for ‘on the day’ entry.
  9. Rewards will be posted to any supporter’s UK address provided within 14 days of the money being received by Pilgrims Hospices.
