January 2013 saw the opening of the Ann Robertson Centre our new education and training facility in Canterbury, a purpose-built centre available for hire to our local community.
Named after our hospice founder, the centre has four education and training rooms, including a clinical room for practical workshops, as well as breakout areas for refreshment and reflection.
The rooms in the Ann Robertson Centre are used for the courses we run and can also be hired for external meetings.
Ann, a former district nurse and midwife from Wingham said: “Education has always been a key part of our work. It’s fantastic we now have this designated facility and income generator for future projects.
“This building will ensure Pilgrims can maintain its reputation for being at the cutting edge of palliative care.”
We can also offer training in one of our other two hospices – Ashford and Thanet.
There is also the option for us to deliver bespoke courses in your workplace.
Please contact the education team with general enquiries about venues and hire across our three sites.
