Step into the ho, ho, holiday spirit by taking on all three festive fun runs!
Advance entries for the Santas on the Run! Tri Series have now closed. But don't worry if you missed out, you can still turn up and register for all three events on the day of our first run at Santas on the Bay! (Sun 27 Nov). Just arrive at the Herne Bay Clock Tower (CT6 5JQ) between 9:30am - 10:45am and head to the On the Day registration desks. Ho,ho, hope to see you there!
Clear the diary and celebrate the countdown to Christmas at Santas on the Run! Tri-Series by dashing along the east Kent coast in aid of Pilgrims Hospices.
New for 2022 - we're excited to invite elves to join in the festive fun! Please be aware that elf suits are now sold out.
This festive season, Santas on the Run! will be taking place in three seaside locations on three consecutive weekends. We're challenging you to complete our Santas on the run! Tri-Series and take part in all three!
- Santas on the Bay! Sunday 27 November in Herne Bay
- Santas on the Harbour! Sunday 4 December in Folkestone
- Santas on the Seashore! Sunday 11 December in Margate
Christmas will come early as you enjoy festive music preparing for your 3k or 5k route along the seafronts.
Entry includes a 5-piece Festive Suit and a well-deserved medal for each fun run.
Our Santas on the Run! Tri-Series challengers will collect stamps in their Tri Christmas card at each event to claim a special fourth 'golden present' medal for completing the series.
Santas on the Run! is an event for everyone, so gather your friends, family, colleagues or neighbours to enjoy the magic of Christmas together.
Please be aware that there is a limited number of elf Suits available and each event has a maximum capacity of participants. Entries will close as soon as capacity is reached, so we highly advise that you register early to avoid disappointment. Please be aware that elf suits are now sold out. Each tri-challenger will receive 3 Santa suits per entry.
Places are limited to 200 for anyone who wants to become a Tri Challenger, taking part in all 3 runs. So sign up early!

Fundraising for local hospice care
Every pound you raise will make a difference to the families being cared for this Christmas. You'll be helping patients and their families enjoy the festive season together and make memories that they can treasure.
This Christmas your fundraising could pay for:
- £1 could pay for a patient to enjoy a mince pie and custard in the run up to Christmas
- £12 could pay for a patient's Christmas dinner
- £20 could pay for a physiotherapy session to help patients stay active and enjoy festive games with their family on Christmas day
- £50 could pay for a Christmas tree to decorate our hospice family rooms
- £100 could pay for a therapy session for a child coping with the loss of a loved one over the festive season
The route
You can choose from a 3k or 5k route starting & finishing at:

- Santas on the Harbour! Folkestone Harbour Arm, Folkestone CT20 1QQ
- Santas on the Seashore! Fort Crescent, Margate CT9 1HX
Sign-in opens at 9:30 and the fun runs will begin at 11:00

- Family ticket isn't available on the day
Entry to Santas on the Run! Tri-Series includes a 5-piece Festive Suit and a well-deserved medal for each fun run. Each tri-challenger will receive 3 Santa suits per entry.
Under 3s go free no matter when you sign up.
Alternatively, join your local fun run in Herne Bay, Folkestone or Margate at just £12 for an adult, £10 for under 18s and £40 for a family entry.
Festive Suit Collections
Every entry to Santas on the Run! includes either a 5-piece Santa Suit or elf Suit (sold out), which can be picked up at registration on the day.
To help you come suited and booted for your festive fun run, we have festive suit collection dates available, the details of which will be shared in due course.
Those registered for the tri-series can collect their festive suits from any of the three collection venues. All tri-challengers will be given 3 Santa Suits per entry.
