Sociable Walk Mersham Hatch Deer Park
Would you like to begin some gentle exercise to get fitter?
Would you like to make new friends?
Come and join us for our first ever sociable walk on Monday 21st April
The walk should last about an hour and be at a pace suitable for all walkers.
Dogs are allowed, however please be aware that they must be on a lead at all times. The walks will be crossing areas where sheep and deer are grazing. Unfortunately however no dogs are allowed for the Nordic Walking Taster sessions.
If you are thinking about doing the Pyjama Walk on 28th June this will be an ideal time to put on your walking shoes and get in practice. There will be hospice representatives there to tell you all about the PJ walk, so if you would like to find out more about what is involved in this fun fundraising event, then come along.
The walks are being guided by volunteers from Nordic Walking East Kent. (The Sociable Walk itself will not be a Nordic Walk though). Everyone taking part in the walk will be welcome to join them after the walk finishes for a FREE taster session which will give the opportunity to discover just how much fun it is and why it’s such a fantastic form of exercise, regardless of fitness levels!
You can find our more about Nordic Walking at www.nordicwalkingeastkent.com or email us at email@example.com for more details.
This walk will be through Mersham Hatch Deer Park. We will meet in the car park of Mersham-Le-Hatch Business Village (The Secret Garden), Hythe Road, Ashford TN25 6NH
Please Note: The owners of the Business Village have requested that anyone using the car park for the walk, park in the spaces furthest from the shops (nearest to the A20)
Walkers will be required to complete a short health assessment before they take part in the walk.
