Cycle with Pilgrims all year round
Cycling is an amazing way to get fit and healthy, socialise and do something for a good cause at the same time.
Pilgrims hosts a range of cycling events throughout the year.
It was such a brilliant ride, the atmosphere was so uplifting we can’t wait for next year!
The Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge in April is a firm favourite with over 1,000 people taking part. You can pick from a range of routes from 50 to 100 miles. Alternatively, our Divas on Wheels challenge in June is a popular ladies only ride with the option to ride 50 or 25 miles and plenty of treats for those who take part including massage, specialist shopping, homemade cakes and more.
In between challenges, you can build up your confidence and make new friends with our regular Sociable Cycling Rides. Run by volunteers the 119 strong Friends of Pilgrims Hospices Social Cycling group regularly rides out visiting parts of Kent including Rye and Bromley, even crossing the channel to France. There are social rides for beginners, plus plenty of faster rides if you are an experienced cyclist.
We encourage sponsorship for all these events, and work hard to keep our costs down to guarantee that your registration fee will go straight into supporting patients and families.
