Donate to our shops

Pilgrims currently has 27 hospice shops in east Kent and an online ebay store.

They are all stocked with goods donated from the local community and staffed entirely by volunteers, which means more of the money raised goes directly to patient care.

Donate, don’t dump!

Your local Hospice Shops and our online ebay store can convert your unwanted items into cash to fund our services.

What we can sell

You can donate any saleable items, such as clothing, household goods, items of interest and anything else you think will raise money for Pilgrims Hospices!

Donations are also sold on our Ebay store to reach shoppers world wide. If you have something you’d like us to sell online, please call Frances Hall on 07967 650911 or contact us online.

How to donate

You are very welcome to donate goods directly to our shops during opening hours. Find your local shop

If you have a large donation such as furniture (see below) or electrical items which you cannot transport yourself, we can in most cases arrange a collection. Please call 01227 640 000 for more details or to arrange a collection.

Furniture donations

Good quality furniture can be donated to Pilgrims Hospices. We collect it and sell it in our New Dymchurch, Whitstable, Cheriton hospice shops and the Chartham warehouse. We also have a small selection of furniture in our shops in Dover and New Romney. Please call 01227 640 000 for more details.

We welcome company donations

Donating to Pilgrims Hospices can provide your company with a practical, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way of disposing of your unsold products and equipment. Samples and promotions, returns and seconds, and surplus or out of season stock could be used to make money for Pilgrims Hospices’ work. We sell clothes, accessories, books, music and home wares online as well as in our shops throughout east Kent.

If you can deliver to us, that will increase the value of your donation. However, if you have a large donation which you cannot bring to Pilgrims Hospices, we can in most cases arrange a collection. If you have unsold stock to offer to Pilgrims Hospices such as books and home wares, please contact 01227 640 001.
