Online Sales Volunteer – Packaging & Dispatch

Location: Retail Offices, Chartham, Canterbury

Status: Shifts to suit are available mornings or afternoons, Mondays to Saturdays. You can donate whatever time you have available, all we ask is a regular commitment from you.

Pilgrims Hospices is looking for an Online Sales Volunteer.

Our online sales/eBay team, which is made up mainly of volunteers, raises more than £100,000 a year and makes a positive difference to our patients by selling donated collectable items via the appropriate online sales option. Items may include antiques, rare coins, stamps, books, clothing, vintage items, music, multimedia and other collectable objects.

This particular volunteer role will be responsible for preparing sold items for dispatch via Royal Mail.

If you enjoy working in a fun environment and would like to make a positive difference in your community, then come and join our friendly team to package sold items for dispatch. No experience is necessary, apart from some basic administration and packing skills and a willingness to learn.

All hospice volunteers are given a full induction, which includes an introduction to Pilgrims Hospices and some guidance around volunteering with us. Role-specific training will be provided.
