Pilgrims Hospices is looking for Volunteer Receptionists at the Ann Robertson Centre, its dedicated education and training facility in Canterbury.
The Ann Robertson Centre is used for the internal training of Pilgrims staff and volunteers, and the rooms and facilities are also rented out to external organisations for meetings and training courses in order to generate income for the provision of our services.
We are looking for Volunteers on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 08.30 and 15.30.
As a Volunteer Receptionist you will be that first point of contact and an information point for visitors to the Ann Robertson Centre. You’ll support the smooth running of the centre by providing a warm welcome to visitors and keeping the Welcome Room area clean and tidy.
All hospice volunteers are given a full induction and relevant training, which includes an introduction to Pilgrims Hospices and some guidance around volunteering with the charity. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to shadow an experienced volunteer in the role.
