How does a Christmas Dinner Day work?

Christmas is a special time of year for everyone. We want to give people who are in a Pilgrims hospice on Christmas Day the opportunity to share a festive meal with their family and friends; £10 could pay for a patient’s Christmas dinner.

On the day you have your Christmas dinner at school, ask everyone to donate £1 to Pilgrims so that their Christmas dinner makes a difference. Go even further and hold a Christmas raffle, sell Christmas-themed mocktails or have a Christmas cake sale.

Together, we make a difference

Pilgrims provide skilled and compassionate care and services, completely free of charge, to more than 2,300 people across east Kent annually; to keep that up, we need to raise more than £11 million each year. Most people know about the 24/7 care provided by our nurses and specialists; less talked about is how Pilgrims can support people in their own homes and in the community through our Wellbeing and Social Programme.

80p in every £1 we spend goes on care. By fundraising for Pilgrims as a student or young person, you can help us raise the vital funds we need. See how money you raise can help.
